Life is "Sweet" here in "the Land of Liberty" Hope you are enjoying your Summer...Here in "Retail Land" we are already thinking and making Autumn and Winter...The "Signage"...our handpainted signs...is lookin' mighty fine!! Can't wait to bring in "holiday magic!! 22 years and counting and we still get "Hyped Up" for the Holidays!! Hey it's what we do. A little of what you can expect to find …We like to cater to the Trends but, it’s the “Old Time Favorites “that we never get tired of making. Country…Americana…Cottage…Primitive…Beach…Garden…a ”Little Something for the Pet Lovers“. Also in our space #8,…(#8 is Great!..) is some one-of-a-kind finds… (can’t make everything ya know). And sometimes there is even me! ..and that’s when I get to do some socializing!.. Seeing familiar faces, catching up on the Latest and meeting some new, (hopefully that will become “Regulars!!) always brings out the excitement in Me, and what I do for a living!! “O’Yeah!!

As you can see, there is alot to see....I call this "our Little Space That Could!!" Truely it is a "one butt" space, and if you get to be the "one butt" make the most of it,...it gets tight...also, get it while it's hot...even though I try to keep it stocked, it does go fast...two things I hear all the time is "I have been buying your stuff for years, I have it all over my house"....and the other is, "your Prices are so reasonable!"...I guess thats one of the reasons why we have been in business for 22 years...too bad I did not get my self a 401k, or vacation pay, not even a parking space...bad boss,...I should give myself a "letter of recomadation" or something!

When you look at these pics, you can see there is a "tad bit" Americana.... we have always had a thing for americana...thats why we named our business "Sweet Land of Liberty" back in 1986. I am proud to be an American" and "God Bless America" Back in Sept. 2001 when 911 happend we were "shocked" to say the least we were also flooded with phone calls...people looking for a Flag to display... some people even came to our home. they had heard that we had had a store that carried alot of patriotic merchandise, they were right, we did...so we started going through our collection...Fast.. and even though that was such a scarey time for us all... that was one of the times in my life when I felt the most Patriotic of all! we probably went through 60 Flags maybe even a 100...lots of them were the little ones on a dowl but nobody cared, they just wanted/needed a Flag.... We have been Flag collectors for many years, so we did have a stash of American Flags...good thing!!... patiotic citizens... it was our honor to share!!...and it was nice to see the RED, WHITE & BLUE waving everywhere!!!! "America Rocks!" "for those of you that ...Serve... our country at any & all levels Thank You for all that you do for our country, for us, & for me!"...Land of the free and home of the Brave"...

I know this is a business blog...but I just got to share with you some stories...random pictures (in the future) and this "little guy" Ta Da!! "Our Doggy Debut"...Oliver Twist!! aka "Oliver Twirp"... "Little O" and lots of other cute names... Oliver is really our Daughters dog, she went to the Animal Shelter every day for two weeks so she could have first dibs on him... He was picked up by the dog catcher in the nick of time, he really would have not made it on the streets much longer...the best thing ever is now he's ..."healthy, happy and home!!" everyday he tells me that he hit "doggy lottery" but it really is the other way around!!!...How do our pets capture our hearts like that? It really is true...they are all our Best friends...so so faithful and loyal...their sweet faces...our Beloved Pets. To those sweet pets who have passed...our hearts are shatterd...the only consolment is that they are forever young... playing...running...frolicing in Pet Heaven with all their friends..."Hope to see you again one day our sweet pets...Liberty, Max, Bam, Sancho and Elvis (and the dozens of gold fish too...)
